The country boasts elephants, antelopes, monkeys, and baboons in its national parks and reserves like Mole and Kakum. Birds such as the African grey parrot, hornbills, and kingfishers also thrive in Ghana’s diverse habitats. In the coastal and river areas, crocodiles, turtles, and numerous fish species are common.
